Trading Card Grading & Encapsulation

Mail your entertainment trading cards to the SWAU lab. We grade them, encapsulate them in a UV-resistant, tamper-evident slab, and return a certified collectible you can verify online for the life of the card.

How We Grade

Each card is examined in person for authenticity and condition. Centering, corners, edges, surface, and print quality all go into the overall grade, which is printed on the front of the label.

Signed cards get a second pass from our autograph team. If the signature is authentic, the slab carries an Authentic Autograph designation — card grade and autograph authentication in one encapsulation.

How to Submit

1. Order SWAU Trading Card Grading & Encapsulation.
2. Print your receipt with the order number visible.
3. Pack each card in a penny sleeve, then a semi-rigid holder. Do not tape the card or sleeve.
4. Sandwich the holders between cardboard, box them so they cannot shift, and include the receipt.
